Sanghata Sutra

佛教经典。此经为佛说僧伽吒法门，谓依此法门可除五无间罪，于菩提得不退转，一切善法皆得成就，并论说了闻法敬僧的功德和一切皆空、离苦得乐等思想。

This sutra records the Buddha’s exposition of the approach of sanghata which allows criminals to be pardoned, preventing them from falling into hell, and enabling them to reach avaivartika, a state which—if reached—will prevent a person from regressing in their Buddhist practice in the future. It also explains the benefits people will gain if they study dharma and respect Buddhists, as well as the lesson that all things are empty of intrinsic existence and nature, and that all beings should study dharma to be free from suffering.
