Monk Wangming’s Proverbs on Renouncing Learning

定义

四言诗箴。作者后周亡名和尚。全诗六十四句，主张绝学无虑，宣扬“长死长绝，无相无形，无姓无名，无贵无贱，无辱无荣，无大无小，无重无轻，教怡贤哲，斯道利贞。” 

Proverbs written in a four-character sentence pattern, written by monk Wangming in the Later Zhou Dynasty (AD 951–960). The 64 lines express the idea that “renouncing learning kills worries,” stating that “renouncing learning makes people care less about life and death, status, wealth, reputation, and honor.”
